No. It's perfect. I'd change the rims to some charcoal ceramic Mavics.
There was that trend in the 80s for black stems. Cables are pre-aero and can't be any shorter. Tub is spare.Rims should be GP4's or similar.
The black stems were more late 80's if I recall correctly, certainly around the time of aero levers but that build is much more early 80's (or even late 70's) looking at the brakes and chainset. And cables that long pre date the early 80's when they were a good few inchews shorter that that.
More I think, the more it is definitely anti. Yet so close.

I think it depends on the quality of the cable outer itself. I had a cheap one before and it wasn't flexible enough to keep it short. When I switched to Gore RideOn, it could be shortened quite a lot.

And the Dale is anti.
I warned Max about the rattlecan job, but he bloody knows better :-) -

Dawes Milk race
No it's not. The main clue being the Ammaco transfers and the total lack of Dawes ones. They sponsered Tony Doyle when he won the worlds pursuit many moons ago so judging by the signature and the rainbow stripes I guess it's something to do with that.

• #31961
yeah ok mr google. looks exactly the same as my dawes milk race...

• #31962
It's been posted before but I'm not sure if it has been posted in this thread.
Ian Hibell's Argos touring frame.
-
• #31963
No over the top, flashy parts, just nice and simple. I like the frame, a proper Orłowski in Poland.
Hey, wait a second, didn't I ride with that guy like a month ago... Where did you get this picture? I couldn't find it on velospace.

Ha, nicely extended metaphor there.
Someone further up posted a bike that looked like a red and white version of Hippy's WAC langster and nobody even picked him up for posting his own bike!
-
• #31967

No clue if it qualifies as bike porn
So why the fuck did you fucking post here? For fucks sake, did you not read the rules, did you not take a moment to think "hmmm theres a current project thread, where everyone posts a picture of their bikes, theres names and faces where you post a picture of yourself and your bike, and theres bike porn, where everyone post pictures of other peoples nice bikes, i know i'll go post it in bikeporn." WAC
bikes are mine
This is where you fucking went wrong, can you not see that no one else has posted their own bikes?
(well, the small size is used by my girl but I've build it for her)
When i click on the 'bike porn' link, i click on it because i want to see nice bike, i don't want to read about someones fucking life story. And why post so many picture? I mean FFS i don't want to know what shoes you where when you cycle, im not in the fucking trainers thread.
