2 brakes (not sure if direct drivetrain counts)
2 constant (non-flashing) lights mounted to your bikes at all times
Front and rear Reflectors
Pedal reflectors
wheel reflectors even?
German law is very specific and overregulated, and it causes a headache because the specifics of lighting systems are laid out, even though more modern ways are available nowadays, and it would take ages to turn that law around to something modern.
