I have had two punctures in the last month in the exact same place. On the edge of the join between the circular part of rubber opposite the valve and the main tube. A pinhole appears and tube goes down overnight.
There is nothing wrong with tyre at this spot but seems odd for two tubes to do the same.
The maybe key thing is I am using an 18/25 tube in a large 35c tyre so although the tube can be inflated to fill out the tyre is it possibly the overstretched join that is giving way?

Anyone experienced this?
