Drinking my first two pints of cider in record time in an English pub in Miami and I feel the need to say capello has hamstrung himself with his squad selection and now needs to throw out the deadwood. We all knew lampard and gerrard can't play in the same team one or both needs to go, there's no point picking Lennon if all you want him to do is track back and no one passes him the ball, he's there to get at the opposing left back, so give him a ball he can do something with. Heskey's not upto much play crouch from the start, or give Defoe more than five mins at the end. Space has to be made for joe cole (show pony) that he is, and probably think about giving carrick a run out, also Dawson or upson as the ledley king experiment hasn't worked.
And what about milner? Capello seems a bit change happy until the times when you really need change.
We won't win the world cup but a better performance is required to light the way for euro 2012.
