I will be at coach and horses 830.

Anyone else going to try and make it back for the nocturne?

  • Work might possibly set me free for tomorrow so might be able to join on a whim, won't know til later tonight though.

What's the deal with trains, have people booked in advance or do we all just roll to the station and hope we can all get on?

  • 7.30 meets at brick lane for a feeder group

  • balls, work sat, sunday off. no fun n games

I know you can't make it but just for everyone else's benefit: There is no way everyone will get on the same train. There isn't space for 25 bikes on a single train, but trains are pretty frequent between Oxford and Reading, and from Reading there are very frequent trains into Paddington. I guess people will want to spend differing amounts of time drinking recovering afterwards so people can just slink home in smaller groups.

guess I'm North-North. Kentish Town is too much of a detour for me. I'm riding on the N.Circular unfortunately.

yeh, groups of 4 can usually get a group discount. Just looked on theTrainLine and specified train tickets are going for £7 - £9 with anytime tickets about £20! ouch!

  • Spot number 12 up for grabs - am working - no way out of it - have fun all

  • At the end of Brick Lane

    ^thanks Crispin, really helpful

the polo courts are at the north end of brick lane (i.e. the ned with the bagel shop and BLB) its actually across bethnal green road and separate from the main part of brick lane.

  • Right then, hope everyone's sorted for the morning. See you all at Richmond Green about 0920!

  • Brick lane feeder group - what time we meeting up??

  • 7:30? wools pm'd

  • Fucked, need sleep, weather looks a bit dodgy later, I'm out. Have fun

  • 1:45am the party's just started. sorry I'm out!

  • Staying in town for the nocturne. Have a good ride.

  • I'm out. Just woke up and haz epic facial/head hangover pain. Gonna save my legs for tomorrow. pukes in bed

  • Just woke up, out. Have fun all!

  • Hopefully they should be sipping a cold one by now left them at 1.30 with about 20-25 miles to go as I had places to be!

Ride had been a bit if a calamity with no one knowing the route and no one really wanting to step up.

Did a long section on the a4 at the start which u think blew a couple of people out the back and then there was a lot of stopping to work out the next turn.

Hopefully the rest of the way was more simpler.

  • I just woke up....hope yall had a good one.
