the initial "engines go!" (this could be by a rocket pushing forward instead of air being pulled through the turbine blades) pushes forward, the air moves over the wing, moves faster over the wing than under and boom! magnets and shit.
But you only get lift when there's a difference in air pressure above and below the wing... Where the fuck is the air flow coming from? From air being sucked into the front of the engines? I doubt very much you'd get enough air moving across the wing to cause enough lift in that situation... But I could be wrong... Doubt it tho'...
