think we need to have 1 weekend session and 1 weekday session that are fixed times and place, regular every week and any extra polo arranged as and when by interested people via forum etc.
every now and then we give out flyers or you'll talk to someone who seems interested, but you have to say "we play thursdays, sundays and sometimes tuesdays but the time and place we decide last minute on a geeky forum you're probably not on". if there were fixed arrangements twice a week that could be told with confidence that it would be happening then and there, could go in the description of the facebook group, and we could all make sure we're in one mcr polo FB group and leave the others, so that people who know us can find actual true information on facebook. everyone is one facebook (sorry rob.) but most ppl are not on lfgss.
even emma and gareth from yesterday have to hear details by text. and i imagine mark too. sophie has said that she and martin are often unaware of where we are. anyone who is without internet at home or work has to text someone. i think for new ppl especially it would make sense to have some regular arrangement that can be assumed to be on every week
