• Budda, I think yours looks much worse because of how close to the join it is.

    if you haven't got an appoinment for 2 weeks it's not a bad one and they are waiting to see how it nits together naturally, I was sent home after a friday in a&e with an appointment for the following Monday where they basically told me I'd be staying in hospital for the next week for surgery and stuff... Then walking about with a metal plate for 2 months and then a month in a sling and another couple of months not riding (advice that, I think like most of us, I pretty much ignored)...

    I don't know how pain killers effect healing, but pain makes you more careful which must be a good thing. Weed is a great painkiller and lowers swelling, not saying if it's good or bad, but if you are avioding painkillers you should be avoiding weed too.
