GEOFF WILES ROAD FRAME c1998 Columbus Nemo built by Omega NEW & UNUSED
Seat Tube (ctc) : 56cm (22in) (23in 58cm ct top of seat tube)
    Top Tube (ctc): 55.5cm (21.75in)
    Rear dropout width: 130mm
Wheel size: Sprints or 700C front and rear (brake drop of approx 48mm)
    Bottom bracket threads: English
    Frame Tubing: Columbus Nemo
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This is a very nice unused and unbuilt-up road frame (it was originally priced at £599 and the price ticket is still on the underside of the BB) which was built by Omega (Mark Joynt) from Columbus Nemo tubing. Columbus Nemo tubing was in the late 1990s Columbus’ top steel tubing with a wall thickness of just 0.4mm in the centre tube sections - seriously light and strong. This frame has a really beautiful paint job which has one or two very tiny insignificant marks. A bargain at £195 reduced to £175

    RALEIGH RRA 1982
    Seat Tube (ctt) : 56cm (22in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
    Rear dropout width: 125mm
Wheel size: 27s, Sprints or 700C (brake drop of approx 57mm)
    Bottom bracket threads: English
    Frame tubing: Raleigh 531C
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Raleigh produced some really good road frames in the late 70s and early 80s gfrom its Lightweight unit, first at Worksop and then at Nottingham This RRA is really rather nice and is in very sound condition - its been spray painted not especially well but which is generally in very good condition with only a smallish number of marks. With horizontal dropouts it would make a good riding easy to convert singlespeed or fixed conversion. £69 reduced to £61

    DOLAN TRACK NEW OLD STOCK
Seat Tube (ctt): 60cm (to top of top tube 56cm)
    Top Tube (ctc): 60cm
    Rear dropout width: 120mm
    Wheel size: 700C
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
    Frame tubing: 7005 Aluminium
This frame is new and unused and is in virtually unmarked condition. This is a very large frame with a slightly sloping top tube and although it has track dropouts is designed for road use. These frames without forks retailed at £199 - I am including the forks, headset and bottom bracket £145

RORY O’BRIEN ROAD FRAME 1961 built by Les Ephgrave one owner
    Seat Tube (ctt) : 51cm (20in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 52cm (20.5in)
    Rear dropout width: 120mm
Wheel size: 27s, Sprints or 700C (brake drop of approx 57mm)
    Bottom bracket threads: English
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This frame has had one lady owner from new - she was the wife of one of the riders on Rory O’Brien’s race team - they all rode Ephgrave built ROBs and she went along to Ephgrave to get measured up and this frame was the result... Its in its original paint and has many of the Ephgrave details - in particular the seatstay bridge and fork crown. It has unfortunately had its Campag gear hanger cut off... it however makes it ideal as a singlespeed ot fixed conversion. reduced to £225

    ARGOS TRACK CONVERSION
    Seat Tube (ctt): 57cm (22.5in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 55.5cm (21.75in)
    Rear dropout width: 120mm
    Wheel size: 700C
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
Argos Cycles in Bristol have converted a road frame with their stainless steel track dropouts and painted it in a very attractive shade of green. The paint is in excellent, almost mint condition. The net result is a great track frame which is ideal for road use. There are no forks with the frame. £145 SOLD

PRE-WAR BRITISH ROAD FRAME 20.5in BSA fittings
    Seat Tube (ctt): 20.5in
    Top Tube (ctc): 22in
    Rear dropout width: 110mm
    Wheel size: 26in or 700C
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
    Bottom Bracket Threads: British
This is a rather rare pre-war British road frame which was renovated at some time by F H Scott of Ealing. It is obviously a good quality frame - the fittings including BB are BSA (BSA apart from building bikes of their own made the very best in lugs and bottom brackets for all the top framebuilders) and the tubing must be double butted as the seatpost size is 27.2mm. Frame number on the left side of the seat lug is 2960. It has lovely laid-back head and seat tube angles and long horizontal dropouts ideal for singlespeed or fixed use. £29

COUGAR TT LO-PRO FRAME built for Chris Boardman c1991
    Seat Tube (ctt): 40cm
    Top Tube (ctc): 53cm
    Rear dropout width: 130mm
    Wheel size: 700C rear, 650C (26in) front
    Frame tubing: Unknown
This stunning frame finished in a black with a speckle was built by Cougar Cycles for Chris Boardman to attack several short distance time trial records c1991 before he turned professional. The fairings are not structural - they are probably fibre-glass! In one or two places there are cracks between the tubes and the fairings but nothing at all significant. This frame could be ridden with a suitable length seatpost riders of between about 5ft 6in and 6ft tall - the top top tube length is the important dimension... The vertical dropouts mean that it is not especially suitable for singlespeed or fixed use unless you manage a magic chain length. £195
