My mate Wig got a SE Draft lite from Ideal earlier. I helped him put it together tonight. He was so stoked he grabbed a boar mask, army helmet and a knife for a photo op! I assume he won't be riding with it on!

Fingers crossed....

I didn't know Ideal did bike stuff. Haven't set foot in there since I was about 16 and it was the old shop. I was locking up outside the other day and Zippy came running out to ask where my bike was from...don't think he was expecting a list of parts.

They've stocked SE stuff since at least last Spring or Summer.
I think Kris is quite into 'vintage' bicycles. His Holdsworth is testament to this. It's dead nice.
I think Sprocket and Ideal should join forces, and open a bicycleskatecafecinema.

New bike?

I was sans glasses trying to squint after you so wasnt sure of the frame. If I listed every bike that comes down my road, I'd be here all day so I just spot the nice ones!

someone unlocking a blue (i think) eddie merckx that looked to be fixed last night about 11, outside the o2 academy...
anyone on here?
were you at against me? -

Saw Dan in cannon hill park a few minutes ago. Too far away to say hello.
This spotted thing is getting kinda lame, its hardly rare & unusual to spot a rad fixy.

Dude it already was lame from the beginning. I am pretty shocked it got to 15 to pages. Each to his/her own though

black frame, white deep v's and bull horns walking up the hill at the bullring anyone??
-
• #739
Saw a red conversion with drops by the bull today

Does Helga ride a red Vauxhall Corsa or something similar?
-

Saw a scarily thin/anaemic looking blonde kid on a flashy retro white holdsworth with colour coordinated parts. He was shaking/wobbling, probably from hunger.
-
• #742
did you chuck him a penny?

Saw a lad with a skateboard in his backpack riding a fixed that i'd seen locked up outside Que Pasa earlier in Stourbridge Town. Maybe a college student? I've not seen him skating or riding before.. Anyone lurking on here?
-
• #744
Saw a guy on a red singlespeed with drops, maybe the same as I saw last, dark hair and black t-shirt, around the bullring

Maybe you should give him some bodybuilding tips

Or perhaps you could school him on drug abuse.

Well, yes I was yesterday.......
I didn't wave as a) I was actually quite ashamed to be driving a car and was hoping you wouldn't recognise me and b) trying not to run you over as my driving skills are somewhat wanting. In my defense it isn't actually my car, and after my annual dose of driving I was reminded of why I hate it so much.
Why would anyone drive? It's horrendous! Sitting in traffic jams, trying to read the A to Z at traffic lights, failing and getting thoroughly lost after being directed down one way streets, trying to find parking then paying loads of money for the privilege......

Could be Callum. Was his brake cable secured to the frame with brown parcel tape?! if so, that be him!

What??? Nothing wrong with being able to drive, dont be ashamed!
I'm glad I don't have a car anymore, but it would be nice to be able to drive more often. City centre driving does suck though, I really hate it for the reasons you mention. I like hiring cars when i have a week or two off work, driving somewhere nice away from cities is pretty cool. Especially if you have a mountain bike in the back!
@ ARR Ha! I left that note with my girlfriend Nan - I'd forgotten about it and I met Helen afterwards and she didn't mention it. No wonder.
S.Hill, that second bike, the red Motobecane is mine - I hate leaving it at the station because the stands are so hectic and crap. Apparently they're only going to put another ten spots or something in the new New Street, which will be four times the size. Given the amount of spaces in any other major station in the country that seems pretty unacceptable to me.
