You say tamayto, we say tomarto!
Damn puncture on the way home (not a surprise as I'm running on the threads of nylon having skidded all the rubber of my tyres) but once I'd fixed it, and put everything back together, I heard it hissing again. Turns out it was a snake bite flat, and I'd only repaired one hole! Fucking thing. Then when I was tightening the track bolts again, putting the wheel back on "CRACK" the inner nut snapped. Hardly any torque. Fucking Charge wheel set crap. Then it went flat again half way home. I ended up with some sort of medium speed puncture that enabled me to make a mile or two at a time, at high speed, with weight off the back, until I needed to pump again.
Not coming.
Sounds like the locknut had developed some space between it and the cone nut > apply pressure with the track nut and ... 'pop' goes the lock nut. I have done this. Bloody annoying.
My seatpost just sheared off on the way home... Weird!
Lordy! Too much barbeque...
Heal up Alex!

Lordy! Too much barbeque...
You were briefly in my dreams last night, but you were a ginger... You looked exactly like Chris Evans...
I think I may have had my saddle a little too far back and musta just hit it weird or it was already cracked... I have put a few pounds on since I quit the fags but haven't quite hit Chunky Brummie status just yet... ;] -

He fell off his bike (on his helmeted head) round the corner from the pub. Ambulance and police.
The sad thing is we did not realise for a while that it was ASM.
I hope you are ok Alex!
Hey guys
Alex is doing fine now - he was concussed and confused and has hurt his elbow so will be off the bike for a few weeks.
The helmet is fucked and totally saved the back of his skull by the way.
He remembers things now and I haven't taken advantage of the blanks in his memory (yet) ;-)
PHEW. Thanks for your concern!
Also, +1000 to the Camberwell King's Hospital massive / ambulance fellows.
They were very awezome.
