Those kind of condtitions are really vague generalisations. Patellofemoral literally means kneecap-thighbone. Its the same with "chrondomalacia patella" something which I have. It basically means some kind of pain in the knee, sort-of around the kneecap.
Anyhow, just digging up this thread because I have knee problems (tore something in my righ knee a year ago). I just tried SPD's on my fixed today, lost balance while stationary and twisted my knee nearly tearing it up again. Also nearly went through a pane of glass!
Fuck my life.
