Just to say what a lovely ride on Saturday....!
Just five people, nice gentle ride down to Brighton, no mechanicals, great company, nice scenery and yes what a pleasant way to spend a Saturday. There were a few moments when we were riding down lanes in the sun and I was thinking isn't life just great.
Give thanks to those who rode - I hope my pace, or lack of, was not a problem... I had 76.6miles on my clock when I got back home.
The last four times I have ridden down to Brighton has been on the charidee tip, so it helps if there is someone in a high viz vest at every junction pointing you in the right direction. Between the 5 of us we did alright using everything from maps, crib sheets to iphones to get us there.
Thanks again and enjoy the ride down there ladies you will be in safe hands!
