Not a very convincing game, although we did improve significantly towards the end of the match which is often the case with England. We always seem to take time to warm up.
SWP proved that he is useless. Carragher showed how slow and cumbersome he is, against a better team he will be terribly exposed. Fat Frank clearly shouldn't have been on the pitch.
I though Johnson was our best player going forward and Gerrard had a good game and was great for him to score so early on.
We need to sort out our Midfield.
Gerrard, Barry, Cole and Lennon for the next game. Its the only way, Lampard has to be dropped. Or play him with Gerrard just behind Rooney up front. But Capello won't be so bold as he always has to play a 4-4-2 formation.
