seems a nice build

He's not going to get it. I bought a Giant superlite many years ago, wish i still had it, they were only £200 new.
Obviously he's put alot of decent parts on it but i'd be surprised if he got that

So would I
-

Probably better off splitting it and selling everything separately
I'd take the frame
-
• #12
If you do decide to split I'd take the wheels + cassette, mechs, ergos, brakes, cable guides and potential the pedal (although they look a bit scruffy!) .. all dependant on price of course :)

Seat tube is 600mm c-t Top tube measures at 575mm c-c
I'm coming down to London tomorrow night (and could bring the bike with me), and will be willing to accept any reasonable offer, if I can get some cash in my account before next week! I don't want £700, I want to recuperate as much of the money I've put into it as possible and get it shifted.
KC: You asked for a ball park figure, and that seemed like a reasonable point to start haggling from, considering the spec. -

Does nobody want to make a sensible offer on the whole bike?
To cut a long story short, I need money fast, and that means I'm going to have to sell my unfinished project-bike.
It's a Giant Peloton Superlite frame on fork in 60cm (really, really nice frame! Check the seatpost bolt). The spec is full campag chorus with record headset and cassette with first generation (period correct) tubular shamals.
As can be seen in the pictures; it's being built up at the moment, and all the parts are there. I just haven't had a chance to finish it yet (forks need cutting down and the cables need fitting. I've spent around £1,000 on all the bits for it so far. Any bits which aren't brand new atre onl very lightly used, and in excellent condition.
Spec as follows:
-Giant Peloton Superlite Frame in Purple, 60cm, tripple butted 4130 tubing.
-Matching Giant forks.
-Camopagnolo record headset
-Campagnolo chorus bottom bracket (111mm)
-Freshly serviced, 8 speed Campagnolo Shamal tubular wheelset
-Brand new pair of continental spriter 22mm tubs (£30 each)
-Brand new pair of ProLite valve extenders
-Campagnolo record 8 speed aluminium cassette
-Campagnolo Chorus rear mech
-Campagnolo Chorus front mech
-Brand new campagnolo record front mech braze-on converter
-Campagnolo record pedals (accept Look Delta cleats)
-Campagnolo chorus brakes
-Campagnolo chorus crankset with brand new chainrings and chainring bolts (39-53)
-Campagnolo chorus aero seatpin
-Selle San Marco saddle
-Brand new Sram chain
-Campagnolo Chorus 8 speed Choru ergo shifters
-Brand new Campagnolo down-tube gear cable guides.
-Cinelli Campione del mondo bars (44cm)
-Cinelli Stem (unsure of model, 110mm)
-Brand new (unfitted) Campagnolo 'ultra shift' cables and outers
-Brand new (unfitted) Cinelli cork bartape.
-Bran new Tranzx security skewers (with special tool to remove/fasten them)(cost £25!)
I think that's about it. I can finish the build, or you can have it as it is. I'll take the best offer for it, but hoping to cover as much of my costs as I can, but I'm always unsure when it comes to the value of second hand bikes.
Also for sale are a pair of Brand new (size 46) Gaerne shoes (I forget the model) with brand new Look delta cleats, which I bought for this bike, but obviously haven't got round to using. They're yours for £60.
Attached are some shit photos of everything. I will get some better ones when I can.
Please PM me, or post here. I will be going away for a week on Tuesday, but can deliver on the coming Sunday to Liverpool street for the price of a train ticket (about £30).
