I love my new LBS (London Fields Cycles) because when I was in there loitering around earlier a chap came in and announced proudly "I'd like a new bike. I want a fixie BianCHEE. I have a budget of 700 pounds." At which the assistant asked:
"Ok, well we don't stock Bianchis. Do you currently cycle?"
"Yes"
"What bike do you use at the moment"
"A specialized allez"
"Ok and how do you find it?"
"It's perfect - it does exactly what I need"
"So what would you like to change about it? Why about the Bianchi appeals?"
"Because it's faster"
"Have you tried pedalling quicker?"
