£££ - I wish I could afford these - £££ Are they not a tad dear? Rims your looking at 65 and hubs 25 tyre 15? Or am I being cheap?

There is either a lot of over priced items, or a lot of whingers around at the moment.

Can't figure out whether it's best to comment if you're not interested in buying, for the benefit prospective buyers not getting ripped... community spirit an' all that.

...a while back there was a 70s track frame on here - resprayed, no certain maker, unoriginal forks for ~£300 and everyone was wanking over it being a great deal.

I would be willing to offer £80-£90 for the front, no more. In my mind hub 22, rim 60, spokes 24, labour 25. So new that's 131. I think...!?

From my perspective I always appreciate people putting in their point of view. That's what I like about the classifieds on here, you know if you buy something you're not getting ripped because otherwise someone would have burned them for overpricing. It's a good system!

Even as a seller I like the fact that if I was overpricing someone would say something because I like to think I would provide a fair deal and it's against the spirit of the community to rip people off. If I perhaps felt like it's worth slightly more, there's always fleabay...

i personally prefer to discuss in a pm to the seller so that crappy responses stay off the thread.

Fair point. I'm not actually talking specifically about Magnello, I was just talking generally, but point taken and this isn't the place for a discussion, it's someone's sale thread so end of. I'll shut up now. : )

all this dudes stuff is waaay overpriced. £150 for a used H+ on system x ?!?!.... you could get a new one built for £135!

i recently sold a rear Chub to B43 for £180!!.... and a front Goldtec to B43 for £120!! Chub's are £160 new on their own!

i got my set that are laced to soma somax hubs new for £250..

for reference i got a set of phils on h+ with sapim cx-ray for a similar price... hmmmm.

socialamnesia i think you should prove it by selling them to me for the same price. it's the only true way of contextualizing this particular wheel-based issue. that way we have a true and current yard stick to compare this set against.

i'll sell you a picture of them at twice the price - that way we are accurately contextualising the absurdity of this sale...

= £225, which is somewhere around what I payed

So for this rear wheel build, I reckon £150 is what I will be looking to get.

Will consider any offers by PM, but I have to say Im quite happy having inspired such creativity, man I wish I had that much freetime myself.
