  • exellent stuff ocdc, well happy for ya mate :)

  • Thanks MD! Happy days!

  • how did you lock it?

    #paranoidaboutlockfail

  • give them a ring, not many pairs left as i had the last pair of black 43's

Do they fit you straight on or you have to buy size bigger (like with Shimano for example)?
Have you seen any 46? Thanks.

You will look lovely in them. Make sure to check our shaving/waxing thread.

  • By the way - nice one OCDC & Cheescake Intl!

  • Cheers EEI!

Locked with a Kryp around the backwheel / seatpost, cabled around the front. Well tooled I guess. Scaff pipe I reckon judging by the scratches on the frame. Dark.

  • Did you lock onto something with Kryptonite or the cable?
I'm curious if they cut both on the spot or pulled it away still partially locked ('coz I've got Mini + cable)

  • Yeah, both round a heavy ass piece or wrought iron railing. Outside a tapas restaurant. On one of Brighton's busiest little roads. Crazee.

  • Skully, I was thinking the same thing. Win surrounds that man.

If you are female, go and get Cheesecake to impregnate you. You will not regret it, I am sure.

at least i'll look the part even if the performance doesn't match.

i'm a shimano 43 but i use a specialized BG footbed which really fills out the shoe. i have skinny feet and would possibly have a 43.5 if i wanted to wear thicker socks.
    43 in shimano/sidi 44 in specialized shoes.
the sidi's are tighter across the front of the foot, they will stretch a bit but there is still enough toe room lengthwise. the heel cup thingy is great, will mean zero heel lift

I didn't ask what other sizes BC had, Geoffrey Butler cycles had some sidis on offer but nobody had the ergo's as cheap as brixton.
cycle surgery have the genius 6.6 white/silver on offer at the mo. next model down with a velcro strap replacing the twisty thing in the middle.

  • Nice one OCDC, do love a good recovery story!
    Well done Cheesecake

    :D

    You win!

  • Yeah! Still completely stoked about, thanks Jordan.

EDIT:: Sry jut watched that vid. brilliant

  • Having your hobbies written on your gravestone must be a win!

  • Holy crap! You HAVE to watch this video. Don't watch it little on the feed. Click through to youtube, 720p or 1080p it, full screen. Now.

  • epic - made me remember why I am terrified of water

  • Even if it was partly faked it still would be a win. Most people panic after holding breath for 30 sec in open waters.

  • most people will strugle to hold the breath for 30sec, in a swimming pool anyway

  • I don't believe it. Where's the equalisation? Too many cuts. Surely not.

  • most people will strugle to hold the breath for 30sec, in a swimming pool anyway

You can easily do it for a minute if you are relaxed and not scared of water. And if you are letting some air slightly out right at the end.

I've done it right now and I smoke now. It was better when I was younger (had the life guard's papers).
