I ride the trails in teddington, nothing big, but they're well built, with lots of lines and fun!

The first rule of trails is....you don't tell the world and his dog where they are.(

Pinner trails were always legendary (never went but read about them), I don't have a clue if they are still going, probably not. PGM knows some other trails in North London.
Never knew they were legendary! I used to ride there all summer when i was younger. I live 2mins away from the trails and they are no longer 'lengedary' i'm afraid. Could be with a bit of work but nobody rides them anymore, just little shits burning rubbish in there. Although saying all that still worth checking out if you're in the area.

whereabouts are they?

Christ in a bike!
The first rule of trails is not to give out their location... glad that's not the spot I dig at. -

Like I said I never went but when I was 15 they where in all the mags and several videos, it was one of those places you talked about going to when you're 15 and it's a long way away.

The first rule of trails is not to give out their location... glad that's not the spot I dig at.They aren't that kind of trails, it's more of the kind of place where parents ride through over the 'bumps' with their kids on the child seat, well it is now. There's still a sixpack, but needs some work, they're all far too easy. Not the kind you trek miles to find and some cunt says 'you're not riding these'

they are council approved.. nothing is going to happen to them, the boss's want MORE people there to dig and shit. they're also being expanded.... http://www.digitalbmx.com/trails/2009/12/13/2562/
Don't knock it. ;)

The first rule of trails is not to give out their location... glad that's not the spot I dig at.don't quote the rules of trails to me sonny
(adopts yorkshire accent) when i were a lad you were welcome to ride anyone's trails if you'd put a few hours in with a spade, and didn't trash any lips.
Really good trails usually survive because of successive generations of riders building them up and welcoming the next generation in, on that proviso.
If you want your trails to be a secret that's fine, but in any case, Pinner's secret has been out for at least the last 14 years (when i remember pictures in Ride)

I started riding BMX when i was about 16 or 17 (1996 or 97, can't quite remember) - just before trails became THE thing in BMX. it totally blew up around the summer of 1997, trails popped up everywhere and our trails became a bit of a hotspot - for Manchester/NW riders at least. But then street became the cool thing to do. I don't have a BMX anymore, largely because i moved to a big city, there weren't any trails, and I wasn't really ever interested in street riding. But if i ever get out of London - or if was able to find a spot to dig my own/help out with someone elses - i'd get back into it for sure
keep the faith, brothers
