Why don't you just go to a bike shop, try a few on and buy one that fits your head and your budget?
You can do all that without the help of this forum.

All helmets are pretty much the same, just go to a shop and buy a new helmet you can afford. Would be better than some 5 year old, knocked about thing you get second hand.

Yeah.. my budget is pretty low at the moment, and really can't afford like £40+ for a new one at a shop, so yes, I am making myself look sliiiightly ridiculous..

Hi peeps,
My helmet has died, after dropping it, so now really needing a decent helmet ideally to buy by this Sunday, as I'm doing a long ride then as part of training for the London - Edinburgh ride in July.
Anyone have one? a size small / medium would be good.
Something like a Giro Monza would be a bonus.
Thanks
