When communting from Clapham I normally do Acre Lane > Coldharbor Lane > Camberwell Road > Albany Road > Old Kent Road > Tower Bridge Road
It probally a bit slower than Clapham Road > E & C but a lot less hairy
Having said that Id certainly try and heading over to greenwich and using the foot tunnel rather than going over the river and then along. Coldharbor > Peckham > Queens?
