Don't those compacts always look so ugly though. I just don't like the large gap between the high and low sprockets (to ride I mean, not just to look at).

Is this legal? I quote, "PLEASE DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT PAY VIA PAYPAL,PLEASE PAY BY CHEQUE,BANKERS DRAFT OR POSTAL ORDER,,"
Although PayPal has been made a payment option on the listing...

I have looked at his history, plenty of positive feedbacks, but the thing with no-PayPal, a no-no for me under any circumstances. Best of luck in the bid thou :)

Is that stupidly cheap?

Someone in this forum perhaps? :)

As far as i know these have been produced (for a very short time).. The inner chain-ring just isn't original
Who's heard of a classic Record triple chainset? Well, neither had I until this showed up:
It's a fake of course: it's a 53/42 with a Stronglight 32 inner ring added later using spacers after drilling and tapping the chainring arms. Other pictures here:

there are signs of pins on the outer side of crank-arms. i would be seriously surprised if campagnolo would ever let such product out.
the one thing i don't understand is why?? why would somebody do this to the crank? are they **that weak **to require this stupid granny ring?? -

to prove my point

Giovanni Battaglin won both Vuelta and Giro in one season (or should I say 1 month?) with such a crank set.
Of course, different attachment granny gear. -

I recently sold a BlackBerry on Ebay, the listing options would not let me remove PayPal and I put the same sort of notification up, cheque or cash on collection. Reason for me is I cant afford to lose £100 (what I sold phone for) and I have been done a couple of times by people with loads of feedback buying items then doing a charge back.
PayPal will instantly freeze the funds. If the person has paid through PayPal with a credit card then you have no hope of getting the money back. I could prove beyond doubt the person on both occasions had the item but PayPal dont listen.

charge back? hmm never heard about that or that it was possible, -goes of to check paypal account-
-
• #25915
charge back is simply saying that the item wasnt recieved or similar and then applying for a refund from paypal.
something i found quite funny was seeing a seller of mobile phones who clearly had been ripped off a few times; stated in their description that if a buyer tried to do a dodgy charge back he would simply use the imei number and lock the phone making it pretty much redundant in this country, so they shouldnt even bother.
a good tactic and it must have discouraged a few idiots. -
• #25916
Yeah but reprogramming imei isn't that difficult in this day and age :(
-
• #25917
Yeah, that charge back is pretty decent.. i'm too planning to get myself a Colnag frame, but there's always a chance it can be scam buying online.
Does anyone know if there's come across any fake frames for sale (for example Ebay)?

Only do Paypal to registered Paypal users, and ship to the Paypal address.
Then you can at least follow up against chargebacks in the county court.
Yeah, that's why I only stick to PayPal sellers and when I sell I make sure they are signed received instead of just normal first class. A little bit more in P&P charges but a lot more peace of mind :)

not so worried about the pic, more concerned about the no-paypal policy :)
