Tuesday Night Ride Club (TNRC)

I think that haggard newbie of indeterminate age wanted to try the new Essex (E4 Ecstasy) route; but shoots was barking the word 'Surrey' repeatedly (or it may have been 'sorry', I'm not sure).

I vote for Welwyn Garden City the ride after that, because it lends itself to longer daylight hours.

i will ride any route in two weeks time. simple as that.

i think if you are responsible for bringing along a newbie then you have to do the 'ride buddy' thing and not leave it to the collective TNRC if the newbie is off the pace.

we have our nominal average speed sorted. i don't think there was any problem caused by things getting strung out last night.

Hi Im a newbie, looking to get out and meet some of the other members (I live outside london so opportunities are not easy) am interested in this ride just need some more details. what time do you start out? how long do you ride? any plans to come down kentish way anytime soon? can I join you on a TNRC?....

Good to see you found the TNRC. Do a bit of reading back in the thread to get the flavour JohnBob. details will be posted about the next ride soon. start out times are between 7 and 8pm. rides are usually 3 hours. kent is always in our minds but it aint happening in the next month. Yes you can join the TNRC just make sure you read the bits about how to be prepared. There are lots of folk on here that will help you on the way. (and some miserable cunts who will flame you for that first post. hopefully i got in before them) see you on the black top soon

Behind the pace as ever - can't add to what's already been said, but a brilliant ride last night, still reliving the last 8 miles. Great to see Jonny fit and Ved out and about again - 4 months off the bike doesn't seem to have slowed things down much. In Sweden for the next one - gutted, but a third vote for WGC after that.
