Hi there,
I'm having to move out of my flat at the moment and need to find a new place ideally buy the beginning of July but am a little flexible on that.
I am graduating from a Diploma Architecture course this summer and looking to freelance as a model make as well as other work.
Ideally I'd like to find somewhere in South London where I can both live and work a warehouse space would be ideal with lots of space and natural light.
It would be great if there are any other people out there in a similar position with creative interests who would like to do the same?
If you are interested in this it would be great to hear from you.

Mate there's artist/studio space in Clapham North somewhere. No idea of prices but it's South and under some railway arches. By Clapham High Street rail/Clapham North tube.

There are a load of art spaces near me by the Thames flood barrier (Woolwich) to let if you can handle being in zone 3. The studios are actually in a nice place right by the river with a little green space.
Look at the Woolwich ones

sometime to get what we want we have to be flexible.
Bivi bag.:)
Just down the road there is another old hware house that is clear bing lived in as a flat / work space illagal style, there are quite a few warehouses near the flood barrier, may be worth looking into it and sub letting rooms e.t.c.

I think the problem is you won't get a place that's certified for you to live in if it's first and foremost designated as a workspace. You basically need a big flat and then set up a studio in it.

Hey,
I'm living in a large warehouse space and we're currently looking for a new flatmate. Located Whitechapel, just over the road from brick lane so not ideal location for you but the place is huge, bright and airy with roof terrace. We're both ex-students at the Bartlett so if your interested drop me a PM.
Cheers,
James

dicki, stratford is a bit to far away for me

yeah the commute from your bed to the place you work would be a bit far wouldn't it, in one of these live / work units !
your bed will be in the same place as you work non ? unless there is a very long corridor in which case i still wouldn't think it'd be too far !

Two people I know have lived in warehouse conversions and they've both been dire, but we're talking literally sweep up and stick a bathroom in kinda places.
