Hey everyone,
I got a few messages asking me to split. I'd prefer to sell as a complete, but if the right offer for the frame comes along I will do it.
Also, anyone who has size queries about the bike, I'm 5'8" and I guess this bike can fit 5'5" to 5'9".
Thanks,
John

Sorry but not interested in dibs. Please PM me if you want to make an offer for the bike. If anyone genuinely interested in buying wants to take a test ride(around the local sainsbury's car park!) before making an offer that is no problem.

Hi Everyone,
Story so far - I've received a good number of PMs, best offer so far is £400 for the lot inc spare wheel, but nothing definite as yet. I will be at home tomorrow Wednesday 9th (I live on Hermitage Road, London N4) all day and anyone who wants to come and check out the bike can send me a PM for my full address and telephone number.

SOLD - Thanks Aida
Hi Everyone,
For sale is my lovely green track bike. I have two bikes and one has to go as I want to get a van for surfing this winter - this bike is less versatile than my fixed mtb and therefore less used so it's bye bye for now.
Reynolds 653 Lo-pro track frame and fork built by Hartfield Engineering of Blackburn, who apparently do not exist any more. The previous owner said this bike used to be raced on Manchester Velodrome but I don't know anything more about it. Seat tube 51cm ctc, top tube 54cm ctc, head tube 7.5cm long. Very light.
Wheelset is Mavic MA rims, DT Swiss champion Spokes on Miche Primato Hubs. Bearings upgraded to NKE sealed ceramic hybrid 3 months ago (these are ceramic bearings in steel races and very smooth)
Rear tyre is a Continental Gatorskin 700x23c, nearly new.
Front is a Vittoria Pro-Team kevlar tyre700x20c, used but still good condition. I have 2 of these so will throw in a spare.
Campagnolo Super Record 170mm crankset. It is the Strada type, but the rear lip is filed down to allow for tighter chainstay clearance a la Pista cranks - there is approx 1mm clearance between chainstay and crank spider.
Campagnolo Veloce Bottom Bracket
Sugino track chainring 51t 1/8"
MKS GR-8 pedals with MKS size M clips and Condor double straps
Condor 20t 1/8" track cog
Condor Miche-type lockring (italian threading)
Izumi 1/8" track chain
Campag Super Record copy seatpost
Felt 1.3 track saddle (retrimmed by me in grey suede and very comfortable I also have a Turbo retrimmed in black leather as an alternative)
Miche headset
SR short riser stem (about 30mm reach)
Cinelli aluminium bars, 42cm ctc width (no idea about what type they are)
Black cloth bar tape
Dia-Compe single pivot caliper front brake with Dia-Compe Cable and Diatech Goldfinger lever
Clearances are very tight all round. Max front tyre size is a 700x21c and rear I think 700x24c. There is about 20mm of toe overlap (this could be reduced by switching to clipless pedals).
I've maintained this bike carefully since buying it a year ago, and every part of it has been stripped, cleaned and rebuilt at some point in the last 12 months. it rides smooth and fast, but as it's a good few years old there are a few small cosmetic dings, scratches and a little surface rust on the base of the fork steerer and at the seat clamp.
Fork is drilled for a brake and brake is fitted (not shown in photos below, double straps also not seen in photos).
Offers over £350 please. Will deliver in London or you can pick up from my place. Thanks for looking. PMs only please, I don't do dibs!
I also have a second front wheel in 26" which makes the bike look far more aggressive and reduces the toe overlap. It is a black Mavic rim, DT Swiss Champion Spokes laced to On-One (Formula) high flange track hub with a specialised 26 x 1.0 tyre, this can be added in for an extra £35
