There is no real policing in Brick Lane. Look on the junction of Scatler street, there are a bunch of Eurasian (racist™) pondlife selling bootleg tobacco right under the CCTV pole.
Most 'community ' plod want to do no more than hand out 'I've met the Met' stickers. Not bad for 28k a year and 5 o levels.
