OK cool, reason i ask is i once had a 1976 Raleigh frame and it has their "proprietary" 26TPI threading on which was nigh on impossible to get a replacement for!
Got any idea of what your after for it?

yeah i was well worried about that when i was buying a new sugino BB for it...but went in fine and dandy, which was a mega relief at the time.
err...as for the price....im not sure really. err....make an offer and if its lower than what i vaguely have in mind then ill give you a price? sound fair?

Is that how it works? You list your item here and then we bid?
-
• #8
im not asking you to bid...i was asking oldskoolracer to make an offer if i thought appropriate id say yes....if not id say what i thought i wanted for it.

Well i'm only after it as a second bike (i would say "beater" but seeing as its powercoated i think that's a little unfair!) - £50 collected? (my parents live up in Leeds).

Picked up. Lovely frame and nice guy. Ta.
my black raleigh grand prix frame is up for sale. comes with black seatpost (25.4) and a headset, tho the headset does need a locknut. seattube is 63cm...im 5 foot 11 and been riding this bike for a little while, and it is the comfiest fixed bike ive ever ridden.
No dings, no dents, good threads.
120 rear spacing with long horizontal dropouts.
Pretty recently powdercoated, before which all braze-ons were removed.
...Im not sure how to put photos up on this thing so if you let me know if your interested and I can email you pictures....or just let me know how to put pictures up on here!!
im open to offers
Cheers
Duncan
