hi guys this is my first post in this section of the forum so forgive my ignorance. ive picked up an old road frame which has the potential to make quite a nice fixed conversion and i was wondering how easy it was to remove cable guides on the top tube/down tube that would have been used for brake and gear cables and also the mount which would have been used for the front mech.
is it possible to cut/file them off to make the frame look a bit tidier? i was also wondering about the spacing for the rear hub. as far as i know road frames are 130mm rear spacing. is it possible to change hub axles to fit a formula hub into the frame.
any help would be much appreciated.
thanks
