• I bought this brilliant bag just before Christmas last year and have used it about once a week since then. Despite it being through all the different kinds of weather Mother Nature has decided to throw at us, including rain, sleet and snow, it's in great condition. I've treated it well, so no scratches/rips/tears in the materia. [*]This is a left-shoulder bag, which translates as easy access for right-handed people. [*]Colour is black and white[*] Flat Dimensions 20” wide, 12” high, 7” deep.
I would recommend for anyone who wants something that can carry everything they need and doesn't want it to look overly bulky when worn.

The Mini-Metro is the smallest size of all the messenger bags, but don't underestimate it's 20.5litre capacity - as a testament to it's comfort and surprisingly large size, here's an example of one good use I made of it:
*I took it with me on a London to Brighton ride, in which I managed to fit a 3-litre hydropack reservoir filled to the brim (I used the "Velcro accessory mounting strap", an extra Lucozade sport bottle, a filling lunch (two sandwiches, two tins of sardines), ten energy bars, two spare inner tubes, one f****** heavy Krptonite Mini-D Fahgettaboutit lock, a vast array of tools (I was a designated mechanic), and a water-proof jacket.
Every mile was just as comfortable as the previous (the first being painless!), and after the 65-odd miles (we took a wrong turning somewhere) the only fatigue I felt was in my legs, honestly. Although that may be because I'm young.*

For me the highlights of this bag are the padded shoulder strap (ensures any weight doesn't dig into your back), the ingenious seat-belt buckle (doubles up as a bottle opener, it works) that simplifies taking it off your back, and simple design (not too many fiddly pockets). Waterproof-wise, it's amazing. The outer material is "weatherproof 1,000 denier Cordura outer shell". Should anything get past this, there's a second layer of 18 oz. weatherproof truck tarp liner sealed with military spec. seam binding". Finally, there's an "independently suspended weatherproof truck tarp liner with military spec binding eliminates any seams exposed to the outside elements". In other words, your stuff won't get wet. The reflective webbing in the straps keeps you seen at night.

I've decided to sell it to fund a new bike project.
Despite purchasing it directly from their website during their "20% off any bag" period, an unexpected £14.25 Customs & Duties fee on top of the $60 charge for shipping means that in total it set me back £120.

****I'm asking for £80. You can pickup from Paddington, W2, or I can drop it off somewhere else as long as it's not too far (e.g. central London is fine). ****

  • Are you taking offers? £60 this weekend tonight or tomorrow?

  • £94.99 new, £80 quid is seriously optimistic.

    not in white and black

  • chain reaction have black and white ones for £101; £60 seems like a fair offer for a 6-month old one. If artiste doesn't want it then dibs..

  • Sorry, now sold.
