i'm in the process of designing a headset press for a 1 1/8 threadless set up...
(in before hammmer + wood block)
...and i want to make something that fits snugly inside the outer rim of the races (i.e where the cartridge bearings sit. but i dont have the headset to hand to measure the outer diameter of the cartridge bearings - does anyone know off hand how wide these usually are
no idea if there is a standard but they must all be fairly similar in size...i'm guessing its going to be somewhere between 45-50 mm...
(the headset this is being made for specifically is an M:Part Pro Alloy Aheadset 1-1/8")**
