News from the Bicycle Music Festival
The core of the Bicycle Music Festival the Pleasant Revolution the five bands who are doing a European tour entirely on bicycles entered London early this morning. They were delayed yesterday when one of their number Mychal lost control of her heavily laden bicycle coming down a hill into Godstone Surrey.
Caught between god and a hard place Mychal broke her wrist and badly bruised herself and the Pleasant Revolution’s progress slowed to a halt outside London.
Kipchoge took Mikal to the East Surrey Hospital and the rest of the group cycled on to London.
All is still set for a mega event on Saturday and Sunday with an anticipated thousand turning up over the weekend.
If you are interested in joining the Festival from the outset the festival will start its progress from Stoke Newington the corner of Nevill and Osterley Roads N16 at 8:30am sharp on Saturday and 11:00 am sharp from the same place on Sunday but please e-mail us to let us know you are coming bmflondon@gmail.com
We are also still looking for volunteers for all sorts of activities but particularly marshalling the ride and helping set up at the venues so if you have the time please help out.
