Further to this there's a town bike in grand condition which might be of interest to somebody. 1973, subtle paintjob on quite a fine framebuild (integrated rack), 3 speed Sturmey. 28' wheels. Solid.
Offers, out of interest.

Christ, sorry about the influx of road bikes but they have to go, and while i'm at it:
F.W Evans: 1970s(?) 531, 57cm tt, 56cm seat c-2-c. A mix of some fairly budget parts but campag hubs and goes very well in the wet and around London generally. A great hack bike.
£225

It's a 70s Charlie Roberts which is i think 59cm tt / 60cm bb-seat c-2-c. it's been well used but a very nice frame in 531, flat crome fork top with 'R' stamped (also top of seat stays); straight-ish crit geometry. Seems a shame to refinish.
Sorry about the picture quality. I'll put the full dimensiuons on i a bit if anyone's interested (including spacing).
£110?

I should add that i do a stall on Broadway Market in Hackney Saturday mornings and all these bikes and bits plus more will be around. on top of this there are more complete bikes of this sort. I'll publicise this properly and put a full list up in time but the bikes on the stall this week can include:
- 57cm TVT carbon with campag record/nuevo record
- 57cm Belgian MASI copy with Shimano 600/Ofmega
- 56cm F.W.Evans as i think is pictured in this thread
- 60cm Ribble
- Several cool Holdsworths of various vintages and sizes, all good spec, 531 Shimano/Campag
- 57cm 1956 Claud Butler Avant Courer (Clapham build)
- 60cm Charlie Roberts, refinished (very nicely) by Dave Marsh with DURA ACE
- 50cm Gazelle Champion Mondial frame
- Plum and Carrera as above
And many more. All at reasonable prices.
Soorry for being lazy and not adding full specs/pics, but come and have a look. Also there are always parts i.e. bars, pedals, brakes, very nice wheels (Mavic, Campag and no tubs), straight carbon forks etc.
Come and say hello, outside the Dove from 8.30am
- 57cm TVT carbon with campag record/nuevo record

Here's a pic of the 59cm Ribble. The frame is NOS and the parts are a mix of Campag (brakes, headset and BB) and Shimano (everything else). Price is £300

Two fine sports bikes for sale, both still fast and straight with everything in good order. PM and come and test in Hackney.
Plum lightweight frame, though no tubing decals, tt 56cm c-2-c, bb-seat c-2-c 57cm. Full Campagnolo GS groupset inc hubs, chainset, gears. Only exception is Mavic 88 mech, to accommodate a block for somebody with bad knees (i.e. me). Mavic MA3 rims also. Nice windowed lugs.
Carrera (Italy, not Halfords). Columbus Aelle tubes, tt 57cm, bb-seat 56cm. Full Shimano RX100 groupset inc hubs, chainset, gears. Rigida rims.
Both bikes £340.
