no cos the description fits the pictures, she mentions the zonda wheels.

unless my Columbo senses are wrong the first bike (with the zondas) sold pretty early on in the thread.

looks to me like the first bike was sold then a second lesser bianchi was put up for sale by the same person on thread started with the first bike and that the wrong description and pictures were used.

the clue is in the second posting that says 'as always' suggesting he/she has sold before ie: the first bike.

either way there isn't much worse than mail based disappointment. but at least you are covered with paypal.

Both bikes are the same pictures, but there seems to be a 250 Euro price difference and the description is wrong for both the picture and the bike that the buyer now has?

which groupset was on the bike.

Maybe she just forgot to swap the wheels and will offer that as a solution.,.

This has got me worried as i bought a Concorde off Maryanne like 3weeks ago, and its never turned up...still apparently somewhere between Holland and here!

Oh dear.

I bought the Vitus right after that Concorde and that showed up. Not best packed mind, and I did mail Maryann to ask why there was no packing at all in the box and never heard back. In her defence though, as I say Vitus showed and it was right bike!

does anyone know what happened to the bike in the first sale (and in the pictures of the second sale) ?

no one called dibs and the the bike was declared sold but not to who, maybe knowing this may help.

well the size also looks about right and if it's an avanti mech, hard to tell from photo. only thing about the description that's wrong is the wheels.

agree - misread myself - thought she had copy and pasted the full description from the other... and the photos...

I saw this ad right after it was posted and was thinking it was a cracking deal - would cost that much to just post some Zondas to me ... and almost threw in dibs just for the zondas..
