On Saturday 12 June 2010 the seventh London World Naked Bike Ride will return to the streets of the capital, allowing riders to see the city sights from the comfort of a bike or skates. The ride is easy and upbeat, and riders decorate their bodies and bikes with messages of protest against oil dependency and car culture.

• London is the largest daytime WNBR event in the world. We had 1,200 participants on Saturday 13 June 2009!!! Previously we had 1,000 (2007 & 2008), 800 (2006), 250 (2005) and 58 (2004).
  
• A big thank-you is owed to Bike Fix who provided space to store our leaflets for the London and Brighton rides!
  
• People are also encouraged to join rides in other UK cities – including nearby Brighton and Southampton – which are typically scheduled to take place on different days from London, around the same weekend
  
• The event will take place whatever the weather – please come prepared for rain, cold or blazing heat!

will anyone take part if it's as cold as it is today? I suppose one could warp ones self up in cling film, but there again, that's probably a different discipline altogether.

I imagine there will be some shrinkage alright if it is as cold as today.

so I woud've signed myself up, but I see it's already done...

a few tips for the friction.... fun fur. fun fur your saddle.... it helps soooooo much. so good. so comfy.
as for speedos. etc. go for it. in Vancouver the ride is "bare as you dare", so do what makes you comfortable. I just hope it's nice out. the ride in vancouver in 2007 was a torrential downpour and freezing, so cold we did it again in july, just for fun. thought if it's cold there's all the mpre reason to pack some whiskey with you.
