On 18k a year id certainly be able to live comfortably, with the added bonus of not paying out to smell like a rough night out every day.
Ed, ill drop you a note with my cv tomorrow if that's ok. -

Drat, I would love to do this. I could quit smoking for a job, but I don't think I can get fundraising experience by Friday!
Surely you must know (or even worked closely with) someone who raised a lot of money for charity with a sponsored bike ride/run/swim/haircut? instant fundraising experience.

Cost of smoking per anum:
on 20 a day: £2,292.20
on 10 a day: £1,146:10(based on average 2010 price of £6.28 per pack 20)

Is smoking per anum any more expensive than smoking per orem or per os (as is more correct)?

Is there are minimum age?

Wow, smoking is expensive.
This sounds like a great opportunity and something I'd jump on if I was in the market.

Religion is a lifestyle choice.
Is it though?
I know a miniscule percentage of privileged Westerners like to choose religions to suit their personal wonts and ideals. But I reckon on our shores and abroad you would find that most people who follow a religion had no choice into which they were indoctrinated.

RPM thanks for the memory jolt! Have performed in many a charity concert, and have helped organise a fair few to boot.
Young enterprise at school was all in the name of charity too. Win. -

I wasn't really in the market before my opportunity came and I started smoking. It's the expense what gives it that sense of exclusivity. Aint looked back!

Are you an experienced fundraiser?
I've organized a few charity rides, but nothing on a large-scale, so I guess I'm relatively experienced.
The job is also permanent so is unsuitable for me.
Would be great fun, though.

Would "going to check the route" be a part of this job?
Being paid to go and cycle would be nice.
Job sounds great, best of luck to those who apply!
The pay may not be huge, but it's solid and you should be able to supplement the income if needs be, someone I know makes £200 per month out of his bike bits ebaying without even tryiong to make a profit.
