all of my specialised tubes have split along the seams, so they are shit for doing repairs on
have never had so many failures from one brand of inner tubes
Weird. I've been running the same Specialized inners for a year, with my fat arse bouncing on them constantly. One of them got a puncture from a screw straight through both walls of the tube and has held that repair for the last 9 months quite happily. OK, I was a bit of a fair-weather hide-from-the-snow kinda cyclist over the past winter, but they must have covered maybe 2500 miles on the same inners.
I'm running them at about 120psi, fwiw.
What sort of distances are you getting between fails DJ? Are you running them at really high pressure, or are you kerb-hopping or pulling wheelies and stuff?
