• Dibs 5) Leadtec bars. Nice high rise, 25.4mm clamp, 620mm wide £8

    PM sending.

  • I wnat to buy something for him, has he came back to any of you?

  • umm well my stuff still hasn't arrived yet......and his last activity was 4 days ago, so he's not on hol, no response from pm's - not good form here.

Anyone else in the same predicament per chance? Anyone know him to ask? Seemed perfectly ok during the dealing etc, so I'm quite surprised at this outcome at present.

  • Yay!!!!!!!!!!- my original faith is fully restored- I have a pm and my "goodies" should arrive soon, now back to playing.....

  • I'm still waiting for the groupset, anyone got their parts yet?

  • well, I was told they were posted a week last Friday, but they've not arrived as yet, the post can be very slow, but I do faithfully watch Postie like a hawk every day.

  • I have PM to buy something, no reponse

  • he did say things had been manic at work- maybe advertised too much in one go, then work taking off etc

I certainly haven't given up hope yet.

  • Anyone got their parts or a PM yet?

  • sorry to say mine @ £300 worth haven't turned up, and I had a nice pm to say the parcel was to be picked up two weeks ago last Friday, and I was to get a couple of tubes as a gift as compo.

I believe work took off in a big way, however, money's money, and I haven't got my goods.

If there's no sign of the goods this week, then its a chase through the Bank Transfer as its coverd by Visa guarrantees.

    Disappointing.

  • i sold him a BB, and it took him 3 weeks to reply because he said that he had no internet connection. dunno if that figures into your worries.

  • Still nothing and no replies to PMs.

  • I bought a frame and a few bits from him and they arrived 5weeks after the payment was done. I know the internet connection sometimes fails but when you are dealing with money, just go to an internet place and inform people, just to give some peace of mine.
I wasn't in a rush and i was very understanding, but it would have been nice to get an update from time to time.

  • I'm still waiting..............

    :-((((((((((((

  • I wouldn't buy anything from this seller until stuff gets sorted out. He owes me a groupset or my money back and clearly I'm not the only one.

We all have occasional problems but he is not responding to PMs or posts on here.

Anyone have his address? If so, please PM it to me.

  • is VB aware of all this??

  • Might be worth ask Born Too Late if he knows them, he's a York feller (or was until recently)...

  • is VB aware of all this??

    I wasn't.

But he's not been online for 3 weeks and I'm going to assume that you guys must have better contact details than I given that you had transactions with him.

Let me know how he responds.

  • I've just read the advert again and didn't realise how it had been expanded from the first posting. I hope this isn't a case of him initially selling a few cheap items to gain people's trust, then screw everyone else with the later, higher priced items.

I'll have a look through my PMs when I've finished work to see if I have any contact details from my purchase that I can pass on.

  • I will say again- he seemed genuine, but money passed over and no goods arriving, and no responses aren't good form.

My only contact can be through the bank transfer complaint

  • I bought a mtb off him and (for the last time) sent a load of money to someone I don't know.

After some patchy communications which were blamed on a dodgey internet connection and a 6 week wait my bike was delivered. Although it was missing a spoke, disc rotor bolts, a qr skewer and has a 9 speed cassette on with an 8 speed changer despite being described as great condition.

I hope you guys who are waiting get what you're after or your money back, I thought I was the only one waiting.

For everyone else AVOID THIS SELLER

I also used a bank transfer, do we have any way of complaining if goods then don't arrive?

  • Sorry I'm unable to help, I have no other contact details for him other than bank info and name. Looks like the only way will be through the banks. I hope this reaches a satisfactory conclusion for all concerned soon. G'luck.

    Disappointed of Dorset :(

  • Bank Transfer claim/complaint- its covered by Visa, so ring your Bank and explain the circumstances- bought goods by bank transfer, not arrived, they'll advise you to write or e-mail your complaint to them and they take it forward, it may take a while but should end up with your money back in your bank.

Yes, bank transfer is the best option to complete any transaction. PayPal gift has always been a no-no for me unless the value is just pitance.

In any case, back in the days I used to trade CCGs and we used to have an IRC channel where we do our trading and before trading we usually ask for references and the one with the lesser number, either buyer or seller would have to pay/post first.
