Emmett's kindly offered to organise a tourney to help fund the London Open and rest assured it will be a great day, please try and be open to the idea of it (at least until the details are finalised)!

Some thoughts in the works: Fancy dress theme, free food/booze, atypical awards with prizes, etc.

Any suggestions welcomed, I appreciate that I've recently rinsed you all for food/booze at the end of league BBQ, but hopefully this'll be a bit different.

The 26th would be great as it Tom and B can potentially make it, but again, any thoughts welcomed.

Yeah didn't exactly capture the imagination with the op, just wanted put a date down in the diary as soon as possible.

depending what you offer, it is cheap or rather expensive

i think this is a great idea, but when i first read it i thought you were taking the piss. And whatever you were doing the thread had been closed. put a picture up on the OP emmet and maybe however clever your being, call it slightly different CLOZD maybe?

why was it called closed in the first place?

It is in support of the London Open. Closed is the oppossite but still connected.
Wasn't trying to be a smart alec, just couldn't think of much else.
