Rallies don't have any bulge if you pre-strech them on a rim overnight.
I've had problem with them in the winter (punctures), but not anymore and I tend to avoid gutters.
They are so cheap, I always have spares on me and some Tufo tape (it's road ready straight after putting on).
They are cheap and cheerful, but do the job. As long as I avoid entrances to construction sites and Soho after Friday night.
They still do for me, tried pre-stretching for around a week. It's a well known problem with cheap tubs. With the Rallies I tried, the rear went after a week, the second a month later. Pit Stop kept them going for another month after.
My point is though, why when you've spent a lot of money on a bike sourcing rare parts and frames, do people then stick cheap tubs/tyres on it ? A good quality tub makes so much difference to the way the bike rides, and needn't be that expensive
