I was getting serious cramps all last season, and I know its different, but this year Ive been making a huge effort to drink loads of water throughout Wednesday day time before the league.
Between races i drink a mixture of sugary squash mixed with half a teaspoon of salt and some honey. I havent had any cramps so far this year.
