Hi all, been lurking on here for a year or so, but since I didnt have a fixed gear or single speed bike, and I did'nt live in london, I thought I would keep my opinions to my self.
I have since moved to london, purchased a single speed bike, and guess what? the search function confirms that all of my opinions have been expressed many times before, and that I am nowhere near as interesting or original as I had first hoped.... maybe I can come up with an interesting avatar...

Also, I think I might have drunk too muck beer today and I feel a bit dizzy and slightly ill ! Anyway I'm not a real cyclist, just a silly 40 something bloke who likes bikes and is mostly riding my colnago master because I believe steel is real and it reminds me of "proper bikes" back when I was a lad.

Master x light in red with world champion stripes but not the early original, it's the re-produced 2009 model but still a nice bike

hey colnago costa, appreciate your thoughts or comments on my bike, do you agree with colnago reproducing the master or do you think the original should be left alone? Just interested what you think as sometimes when I'm out riding it I do feel like a bit of a cheat if you know what I mean?

My name is Christian. I moved to London about four years ago, and after a very short while I became increasingly facinated by the asthetics and simplicity of fixed-wheel and single-speed bicycles. But it happened just recently that my neighbour had a nice red Bianchi road frame and a few other parts left: My chance to put together my first single-speed bicycle. It's nothing worth looking at yet but it's up and running for two weeks now and I enjoy riding it a lot (and I believe these two things are the most important aspects of the game, aren't they!? g

...äh ja, and does somebody know a good source for a nice pair of yellow aluminium rims? Thank you! ;)).
