Just about everything but the frame, which Tom (6pt) and I have just acquired:
Current plan is to get as much as we can from the forum, then get her modified, resprayed and built up by people who know what they're doing.
List of parts we need to get her to a competition-destroying standard:
Fizik Arione, preferably white
Specialized Toupe 143, preferably white
Light weight 27.2 seatpost for pilot, suitable for clamping rear stem to (not sure if carbon is the best idea for it).
White bar tape
Look Keo pedals, preferably red or white
Canti brakes that work with STIs
Bottle cage TT saddle mount
Bottle cages, preferably 3 to 5 matching ones (3 for frame, 1 or 2 for saddle mounts)
8/9/10sp Shimano or compatible STIs
8/9/10sp rear cassette (11-25 pref)
8/9/10sp derailleurs (rear will need to be long arm)
Massive fuck-off chainring on the front, 57, 60?
Toptube/frame bags
A decent set of lights suitable for long overnight rides.
(If someone's got a whole/most of a suitable group in Campag or SRAM then we'll certainly consider it)
Also need advice on wheelset/rear brake:
Current setup is pair of cantis on one lever and drum brake on the other. We want to replace with proper independent cantis and a disc on a third lever for long descents/emergency crashes. Anyone have experience adding disks brakes to a non-disk frame? The middle set of stays in the rear triangle might pose a problem.
Definitely need a new wheel set regardless, current ones are super heavy and particularly old. Any advice on what to look out for on tandems?
Not sure on hub width, will have to wait for Tom to measure up when he gets home.
