the human is still evolving. In a million years the human will be hairless. Hair is primarily there for warmth (trapping air). Now that we wear clothing it is not required but evolution doesn't work that fast.
Go back in time a bit and you would find the average man to be hairier than todays average man.
Whereas we will retain nasal hair to stop foreign objects going up your nose, maybe the same for your arse for same reason. This seems to be a male only problem as generally they have hairier cracks. Mmm, thinking too much about this now.
