  • If it's black...would you care to part with it?

Does anyone know how a San Marco supercorsa holds up to wet weather, presumably if its not bagged it will get knackered? Are there any other similar saddles, but not leather/suede covered?

Iv gotten mine wet a few times (left it locked up in the rain for couple hours so was toally soaked through, rain came on mid ride and i carried on riding, saddle was wet at back and damp all over etc) If it gets wet i bring it into the house n sit it on the radiator to dry out then when it's dry i give it a rub with a towel to raise the pile back up again.
Mine is now looking pretty polished in places - i like it better like this, looks worn in, like an old pair of jeans - and i think the wetting/drying process maybe stretched/tightened up the suede because it started to come unattached at the back but a bit of hot melt glue sorted that out.
There's probably a better way to dry the saddle out if it gets wet that would have stopped the cover removing itself at the back but if you were worried that one shower of rain n it'd be a goner then now you know differently.
