  • Penneth?!

A contraction of 'pence worth', and, like me, largely fallen out of modern use.

  • Oh I know, it's just a daft sounding word.

    giggles

  • Like I give a flying fart if my posts are not up to spec in your eyes. Am I supposed to be wounded? Upset? Just what you'd like I suspect.

Got realer things to worry about than this classroom full of
    little boys.

Oh, just had a little looksie at your profile. 5,070 posts. Big wow...did you see much daylight today? Feel the sun on your face? Actually rode your bike at all. Or have you spent all day trading inanities on a forum?

I'm not a little boy, in age, demenour, nor intellect. My oldest daughter's nearly 18, and as for my posts, thats over 2 years. People who know me and see me, know that I cycle a minimum of 100-120 miles each week....every week. I do get out, and ride, all the time.

But honestly, a telling off from you is like a savaging from a pink feather duster.

Yup, you're an alias alright. Good luck with that.

  • Just imagine: someone want to read up on rigidity of rims and handling and they have to read all of the gash I have.

    fucking plums, all of you.

  • You're a plum too.

  • You can't win it by joining in...

You really don't have to try to justify yourself to me...Oh. you just did.

Is the cycling you going around in circles on here trying to impose what you believe are the accepted mores of LFGSS on everyone else?
Then throwing a hissy when you feel that someone transgresses them.

Savaging? Nah. I'll leave that kind of carry on to the likes of you.

    Bye!

P.S. I'm not an alias, just someone that pops in here infrequently. But believe what you will because again I could give a great big fat, smelly and flying fart.

  • interwebs is serious business.

  • Anyway, I've just come in from doing some back-breaking garden maintenance/demolition. I'm going to have a slight break, then head back out to finish it off. Then back inside for a shower some Grenadian rum mixed with fizzy lemonade, then get down to business (lets say its Scrabble) with my friend, who's currently making some nosh. After that, an afternoon snooze, then maybe a movie later (with said friend).

See on the Rum at lunch... Damn Animal!

  • Choooooooooooon:

    YouTube- Winger - Seventeen

Beating is to good for you

  • Anyway, back to the lynx bashing...

  • Joke... ;x

  • I've decided Lynx is cool... he doesn't write in a style intended to convince us of his massive intellect, entirely lack a sense of irony, repeatedly remind us that he's a big man, have ocd for lists and try to impose his version of the forum on us. He sent me a nice PM too.

  • Campagnololz!

  • He sent me a nice PM too.

He gave me a birthday card. Beat that!

    Well said.

Obviously directed at me...but to very little effect.

I write the way I do, due to being raised by my paternal grandmother...an English teacher and school founder. It's not to impress anything upon anyone. If your upbringing was different to mine, then we would treat language differently also.
I can't pretend to be a small man. I've never been small. As for the lists...I think they've been useful to enough people, in different countries, to have earned their place. I'm proud of two of them.

Yes, I lack irony, but if your teens were spent in America, then maybe yours wouldn't have developed successfully either. I don't feel sorry for myself. It's something I can live without.

    Well said.

    Total fail. Utter and complete.

  • Obviously directed at me...but to very little effect.

Yep... clearly failed to get a response there Ashe... ha ha ha

  • Can I just point out that vertically stiff rims have no effect on handling. They can effect ride comfort, but not handling. Lateral stiffness effects handling FFS.

    Carry on.

  • Oh and while I think about it the search should have some easy way of excluding any sale threads.

    This.

Oh, and all that stuff that everyone said about not picking on people.

  • Total fail. Utter and complete.

    Well said.
