Wanted: to buy or trade - Steel Fork, 110mm rear hub, low profile clincher rims

Think that might be a bit much for those forks, esp since I reckon they would need more thread cut to make them fit my frame - I might hold out for some with a slightly shorter steerer but will be back in touch if I don't turn anything up soon-ish?

Well that's just my opening offer so am happy to negotiate, they won't be going anywhere quickly.

I assume you've tried Hilary Stone for a brake? And he can advise where you could buy a new one from too. I got some 8cm Alongha drop ones from him recently, new and cheap as chips, worthy of a try.

New here but may have some forks on an old raleigh frame - I shall check them out.
They aren't 531 though - 501 possibly....watch this space

Long drop calipers now sorted - still have half an eye out for a fork though? And 40h rims are not yet a done deal...

have a pair of shiny chromeTange Cro-Mo forks brand new still in wrapping: 700C clearance, 1" Steerer 245mm with 100m threaded, drilled for brake (same type of crown as the blue pair offered earlier) if interested pm

brand new never been fitted to a frame.....1" steerer 245mm length/100mm thread, reasonably close clearance I put a 700c/23 wheel in and there was approx. 1/2" clearance, looking for £30 or maybe trade if interested
