Yes, but thats just the point. You cannot perpetually remain the newbie. How long can you join? Joining is immediate, and there is a period of learning about the forum. I suggest at this rate, the special person who I speak of, will still be new-to-the-forum after a f*cking decade. He's already been here 2/3rds of a year hasn't he? How long does it take to learn that there could be other threads on any given topic, and its only polite to look for a similar thread and take part.
