Pinhead locking system + Specialized Langster steel 2010

I just bought Pinhead Duo wheel locking system. When it got delivered it seemed useless for a bigger axle nut/wheel skewer! Unless I change it, which a the Cycle Surgery guy suggested not to; atleast for the rear wheel.
I use 2 D/U locks (both abus, 1 for each wheel and frame) plus the bike is insured.
Any advice? Use it? Not use it?

sell it and get another lock, not abus. (most lockpick thieves carry one set of lockpics for one brand of lock) maybe someone will buy pinhead in classified for £30/£20 notes..

Amey - try getting some security bolts. I think you can get ones that are 5 sided and need a special tool that a theif is unlikely to have.

If you use these on your front wheel and use 1 D-lock on your rear wheel and frame, you won't have to lug 2 locks around with you.

In addition, bike insurance does not require 2 locks, just a lock of a particular security rating.

What locks do you have at the mo'?

I'd advise getting a Kryptonite New York d-lock and have this as your sole lock.

i have abus varedo and abus sinus, varedo is approved by the insurance, i guess i will sell the pinhead on forum ;)
