Confessions of a Campag convert.
So, plan is to meet you in Soton around 1240?
J, let me know what train you're getting (from Branksome?) and I'll try and hop on the same one.
Shimano for Life ... The ron seal on bike components. Anyway ... I still can't keep any food down at the moment ... so unless I feel dramatically better by friday I doubt I will be going.

Lost my computer info :(
Either I accidentally pressed something or some cunt reset it while our bikes were locked up...
TBH I thought rain was coming, so the lack of cars made the ride even better.

5 pretty tight s.s laps in 2.10, think it was 5 miles, cleaned the whole circuit and beat my mate John who was gearing it on a dual susser, as were most guys and all girls. Dude that put 6 laps in was on a s.s 29er. dunno where I came in the standings, find out later. Was good, Charlie bikemonger and loads of the local shop guys there, friendly day really. funny prizes though, winners were getting muc -off boxes, so like " you won, well done, so go and clean you bike up now....."

Just spotted: cycling up Christchurch Road towards Pokesdown Station, riding a reddish-brown frame with riser bars, a purple front rim, wearing black cap and check shorts. I nearly beeped but imagined causing an accident and having to say "sorry, I just wanted to say hi...". So I didn't.
