It's more that if they do go, I'd have to have a taped spare ready to swap in - which is something that at the moment I have never done, so aren't hugely confident about, and tubs aren't cheap. Plus a dodgy roadside change where it doesn't stick properly could lead to an accident... I want this bike to be pretty practical, which i think militates against tubs
